Back to 1957, Yvon Chouinard wanted to find a new way to climb without damaging the mountains. He succeeded by finding the most appropriate tools. But he also had, in the early 70's, the wonderful idea of creating outdoor wear combining eco-friendly* materials and tough ones. Patagonia was born.
