La Michael, fruit de la collaboration Paraboot x Universal Works, ici en marron, est le résultat parfait d'un partenariat alliant tradition, savoir-faire artisanal et style moderne. Bien que différentes en apparence (Paraboot incarnant l'élégance française et Universal Works le style workwear britannique contemporain), les deux marques partagent une philosophie commune axée sur l'artisanat, le design intemporel, la qualité et la fonctionnalité.

Ce modèle revisite l'emblématique Paraboot Michael (créé en 1945) en y ajoutant une touche moderne, fidèle au style urbain et terre-à-terre de Universal Works. Le UW Michael se distingue par une construction Derby méticuleusement travaillée, avec son insert de feuille reconnaissable et ses surpiqûres perlées. La silhouette est épurée par un laçage court à deux œillets.

Sa durabilité et son caractère fonctionnel sont accentués par la semelle en caoutchouc cousue Norwegian Welted. Cette technique traditionnelle, initialement utilisée pour les bottes de montagne, assure une durabilité, une imperméabilité et une flexibilité exceptionnelles. L'assemblage du cadre, de la tige et de la semelle est réalisé avec précision pour une structure durable et ressemelable. Les semelles et les semelles intérieures Paraboot, fabriquées dans leur atelier à Saint Jean de Moirans à partir de caoutchouc naturel vulcanisé selon une recette traditionnelle, garantissent un confort maximal et une résistance impressionnante.
